{"id":781,"date":"2020-12-01T11:10:41","date_gmt":"2020-12-01T10:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.posi-lab.fr\/?p=781"},"modified":"2025-10-30T19:10:30","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T18:10:30","slug":"audrey-laurent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.host-pathogen-biology.fr\/index.php\/2020\/12\/01\/audrey-laurent\/","title":{"rendered":"Audrey Laurent"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\"><strong>Audrey Laurent<\/strong> obtained her master\u2019s degree from the <em>Magist\u00e8re Europ\u00e9en de G\u00e9n\u00e9tique<\/em> at <em>Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 <\/em>and joined the team in January 2021 to pursue her PhD under the supervision of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.host-pathogen-biology.fr\/index.php\/2020\/04\/09\/mathieu-coureuil\/\">Mathieu Coureuil<\/a><strong>.<\/strong> Her research focuses on the endothelial cell response to <em>Neisseria meningitidis<\/em> adhesion, specifically examining and imaging\u00a0the reshaping of the endothelial plasma membrane during bacterial adhesion, both in terms of its structural dynamics and its role in pathogenesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Beyond her research, Audrey is actively involved in science communication and outreach, having participated in a doctoral mission at<em> Cit\u00e9 des Sciences et de l&rsquo;Industrie <\/em>(2021\u20132023) and the <em>Ma Th\u00e8se en 180 secondes <\/em>contest in 2024.
