Clémence Mouville is a PhD student at the Necker-Enfants Malades Institute, working in the Neisseria meningitidis team since December 2020. She obtained a master’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Université de Paris. Clémence studies the rôle of bacteriophage MDAՓ in meningococcal pathogenesis under the supervision of Emmanuelle Bille and Xavier Nassif. The bacteriophage MDAՓ is associated with the hypervirulent strains of Neisseria meningitidis. Clémence project is to understand how the MDAՓ participates in meningococcal pathogenesis notably by studying MDAՓ / meningococcus interactions and potential human / MDAՓ interactions.
